Qualitative Analysis lab: how to assign (or review) unknowns

I plan on using the qualitative analysis part of the organic chemistry lab for an experiment a little later this semester. Is there a way to assign particular unknowns to students or is there a list of solutions for instructors?

Any sort of guide with respect to this would be very useful. The help document gives some information (e.g. ‘Once the structure and name of the unknown has been determined, numbered unknowns are reported to the instructor…’), but not enough for me to think about the logistics of doing this kind of lab.

If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

I’m sorry that is confusing!
I have a couple of suggestions.

  1. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFytycDB4UE&list=PLr9DtLFbhGPHHAtzi34lSu5EzrzgOkv_n&index=7
It explains how Unknowns work in the Organic lab.
  2. Join the Instructors Lounge if you are an instructor. The answer key for all of the unknowns is there. To apply to be added to the group, this video shows how to do that:
